Rusagro registers African swine fever in Belgorod Region
MOSCOW, Sep 7 (PRIME) -- Russian agricultural holding Rusagro has registered an African swine fever case at one of its 24 production sites in the Belgorod Region, the company said in a statement on Thursday.
Tests from other sites in the region showed no African swine fever infection. All pigs of Tambovsky Bekon, subsidiary of Rusagro, were insured, including insurance against African swine fever. The possible damage to production and sales of pork of the company are insignificant, Rusagro said.
